It’s official…we’ve filed to run for the Congressional seat in the 8th District of Indiana!
Just a quick update: We are making great strides, and it is because of all the wonderful grassroots volunteers that are supporting us. Thanks to each of you for your support.
I have received national media calls and one interviewer asked me, “How are you stirring such controversy against an incumbent who is sitting on a ‘pile of cash’?”
I explained to him that more than 50% of that cash is PAC money, but that we have wonderful volunteers beating the bush for our campaign. I have always been the candidate of and for the people, even in 2010, and I do not buy my volunteers. They are people who understand the cause of freedom and how serious the stakes in the nation are right now. They are looking for a fighter and a defender, and they recognize that, of the two, I am that person.

Word-of-mouth is invaluable. Spread the word, send out e-mails, share on FB and Twitter, tell your family, neighbors, church members, and the person in the grocery line that there is a candidate running for office who will help restore our hope in Congress, because she is seeking to restore the Founders’ vision for a Constitutional, limited government.
We are excited and motivated and on the move. I hope to see you soon as we stir up dust on the campaign trail.
